Covered Bridge Pony Club

The US Pony Club  (www.ponyclub.org) is a great organization and our local branch is the Covered Bridge Pony Club.

In the late fall and early winter there are unmounted meetings where the kids learn about caring for their horses taught by world renown Pony Club Quiz Prepster - Peggi Bindner!   In February we head south, to Franklin, Tennesse to battle with other teams for Horse Knowledge Superiority!

In March some of us head to The Kentucky Horse Park for Mounted Games Rally.  This is fun with ponies extreme.  To put it in laymans terms - it's relay races on horseback!  Lots of luck to our kids there!

Also in March, CBPC hosts it's annual Combined Test.   This is our annual fundraiser and it is vital that all the parents participate to ensure it's success. 

In June we head to the Kentucky Horse Park for the Mega Rally where the members are judged not only on their ability to ride but for their ability to care for their mounts.  Prior to Rally the children attend a mini-horse camp organized by Peggi Bindner to prepare them for everything they will encounter at Rally.  As usual, Peggi does a great job making sure everyone knows their job!
